I did not know that Michelle Lujan Grisham was running for Lt. Governor against Senator Michael Padilla. I thought that she was running for Governor. Apparently, Michelle Lujan Grisham thinks that She has already been appointed and anointed by the Democratic party to be our nominee or does she consider herself to be a Patron who thinks it is up to her who decides who runs for what office. Somebody, please tell her that the primary elections haven’t even taken place yet.
I just turned 80, but if my memory serves me correctly I believe that when she was head of the department of health, one of her division heads (who was married) fathered a child out of wedlock who was a daughter of one of our state officials. My memory might not serve me correctly but I don’t remember if she disciplined him fired him or took any action. If she did not take any action then she must have condoned his behavior which was inappropriate.
I personally know Senator Michael Padilla and his office is not only attentive to the needs of his constituents but is responsive to all the citizens of New Mexico while Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham does answer most of the correspondence that arrives in her office and does little to help disabled veterans.
She alleges that Senator Padilla asked one of his employees out on a date while He was still single. I do not find anything criminal or morally wrong with someone asking someone on a date. If this was the case most of our 14-year-old sons would be in jail. She also alleges that He made an inappropriate remark about wives staying home to watch the children and make tortillas. In 1950 our elders told us that once you got married your sole purpose was to Protect and Provide for your wife and your family. I did protect and provide for my family by having two jobs so that my wife could stay home. ( but she didn’t make tortillas she bought them from Albertsons.)
I asked one of her friends why Michelle wanted to leave her position as a Congresswoman to run for Governor? Her response was that she wanted more time to care for her ailing mother. There are only 24 hrs. in a day and 365 days in a year and being a Governor will take more time to run than a congressional office. When she has to leave the state (on state business) is she going to provide care for her mother at her own expense, or will the taxpayers have to pay. These are but a few of the questions that should be asked.
By attacking Senator Padilla she will probably lose a lot of support in his district. By not helping disabled Veterans (verified by evidence) the new allegations that have just surfaced and the inappropriate actions that were taken by one of her subordinates should be enough to ask her to drop out of the race for Governor. Time to clean the swamp, starting with Michelle and let’s check to see if there are any more skeletons in her closet, like if she has been celibate since she has been single?
Michelle reminds me of Roy Moore, (from Alabama) deny, deny deny and let the Lord take care of it, but in all fairness to Michelle the last time I checked, the Lord is not a member of the State Central Committee, In fact, he is not even registered to vote in New Mexico
