Re: concerning letter from your office dated January 27th, 2016
I would like to thank you for providing me with an opportunity to meet with your Aide and Arturo. Apparently, Arturo has a problem with the English language and following simple instructions. Lisa who I believe is the office manager was present for a brief period of time. Your Aide will verify that Arturo was definitely not prepared to present or discuss the case. He had all the information in front of him and he could not find anything.
The instructions that were given to him in writing were simple, check the SICKBAY log and see how many people were treated and what they were treated for during a given period of time when I became disabled. He investigated the ships log to see if there were any accidents that occurred aboard the USS WASP, if he had read or checked my record he would have found out that the Navy had already verified that there is a probability of 60% or more than my disability occurred on the USS WASP. The 60% substantiates my claim. The reason for having him check the log is because the other person who was injured is receiving more than the 20% disability that I have. I cannot understand why an Officer who is regarded as white gets 100% disability and an enlisted man who is considered a person of color only gets 20% for the same disability. Many veterans have been denied their medals as well as their benefits because of the color of their skin, their religion or ethnic background.
Another request that I made was for Arturo to verify in writing if your office had forwarded the letter to President Obama, the date that it was sent out and their response. I am still waiting for that response from your office. Either Arturo is too busy, doesn’t want to do his job or you are not interested in assisting a disabled veteran. A friend of mine who is a Republican has talked to Congressman Steve Pearce and would like to help me in resolving my problem. Need I say I am a Democrat.
I did receive a letter from your office requesting that I contact the NM Veteran Services to assist me with my disability. If you are no longer interested in assisting a disabled veteran please let me know.

PS: I have been to your office in person and written several letters to you and I am still waiting for a response from my letter written to you over a year ago. If you can’t run a Congressional office what guarantees us that you can run a State. I have therefore decided not to contribute to your campaign or solicit donations on your behalf. I have lost all confidence in you as a public servant and will, therefore, be supporting Jeff Apodaca for Governor.
