Open Letter/Response to Ryan Boetel, ABQ Journal staff writer, article
Your article was an eye opening experience for me, I thought that my lying eyes and ears were deceiving me. I attended a training exercise for ward chairs on how to conduct a ward meeting and almost fell out of my chair when someone asked about distributing campaign literature, wearing tee shirts or wearing buttons.
The response from the County chair, who is supposed to be neutral stated that no one would be allowed to wear tee shirts especially if they were from Jeff Apodaca’s campaign. The second coincidence when Michelle’s staff was helping people who attended the ward meetings to fill out their ballots. The third coincidence was at the County convention when the County chair was introducing the candidates and allowed Michelle Lujan Grisham additional time to speak. (look at the tape) The fourth coincidence was at the County convention when our first alternate was moved to become a third alternate. It was a good thing that we took a picture of the delegate selection to prove our challenge. The fifth coincidence was at the state pre primary convention when again Michelle was allowed more than three times as any candidate to speak. (look at the tape) I do understand that there was a small disturbance and I am still wondering if it was just another coincidence created by Michelle to get sympathy.
I’ll bet that a good investigative reporter could find out who paid bail to get the person who committed the disturbance.
First and foremost, the Chairman should apologize to the Apodaca campaign and then resign.
I’ll bet that if we looked in her closet we would probably find more skeletons than are buried in the national cemetery.
